一般のWindowsアプリの和文解説では、「チェックボックスをチェックする」という表現が頻繁に使われますが、MMSには、チェックボックスの操作に関して「check」という言葉を動詞としては使わないという規則があります。

「チェックボックスをチェックする」は、「select the check box」と翻訳します。
「チェックボックスを解除する」は、「clear the check box」と翻訳します。
